Serenity envelopes you with your first step off the boat. The tension seeps out and the “real world” is left behind as the gentle breeze and the slapping of the waves herald each new arrival. Here is a chance to really relax and connect with Canadian wilderness at its finest. Beauty surrounds the island with deep, sparkling waters and breathtaking sights. Across the bay a moose escorts her calf home in a frantic fashion; a perched eagle stands sentry while the gulls circle inspecting the fisherman's success on the lake. All this beauty in the middle of some of Ontarios finest fishing waters!

Island Lodge is centrally located on Eagle Lake, just east of North Twin. You can see “Dead Man's Reef” from our lodge. We are surrounded by numerous bays and islands affording sheltered fishing no matter what the weather. Guests are picked up at Hanson's Landing for the four mile trip to Island Lodge.
